USA Today reports that former Redskins linebacker LaVar Arrington has been
released from the hospital, two weeks after his motorcycle accident.
“He’s doing much better,” said Arrington’s attorney, Rosalyn Pugh. “I won’t say he’s 100 percent, but he’s doing better.”
Arrington reached a mutual agreement with the Redskins leading to his release from the team at the beginning of the 2006 season. He spent the year on the New York Giants’ roster, ending the season on the Injured Reserve list. He is a free agent unlikely to play this year as the result of his accident.
LaVar plans to open a restaurant near FedEx Field, according to the
USA Today story.
