Brandon Lloyd

Washington accepted a trade for Brandon Lloyd of San Francisco for its third round pick this year and its 4th round pick in 2007. So, it looks like the Redskins are already filling up the void left by LaVar Arrington. And, if you ask me, this almost improves its linebacking crew.

Re: Brandon Lloyd

Actually, Lloyd's a wide receiver. Caught 48 passes for 733 yards and five touchdowns for the Niners last year. Good talent but a malcontent. Not sure what his role will be, as its also reported that the Skins have signed Randle El from the Steelers.

Yeah, I was scratching my head about Lloyd and the linebacking position.

They do have some depth at WR now with Randel El and Lloyd on top of Moss and Patten.

Re: Brandon Lloyd

Do they have too much depth, though?

I mean, Washington has other holes to fill, like LB. They can't waste all their cap room on the WR position.

Well, I'm sure they are going to free up cap with the loss of Arrington and also getting rid of Ramsey.

I can't believe I did that...

To add to Gronzy's post about World's Smallest Baseball Books, except on the subject of football...
