I think T.O. will win this one and run the Tuna out of town. Old Bill is looking a little tired (of it). I won't be the least bit suprised when he announces his retirement at the end of the season.

Hey, the offense has been pathetic. Portis is going to be out for a while, and Brunell hasn't been getting the job done. Kudos for Gibbs for trying SOMETHING. And really, they need to find out for sure about Campbell. Even if he proves himself a bust this season, then at least Washington knows they need to go in another direction and draft another QB.

They have known for a while they needed another quarterback. I believe Gibbs was the one that wanted to stick with Brunell. He thought he would be able to use any QB with his system like before. The game has changed too much since he coached before. I tmay be time to hang it up.

I don't have any quotes or articles to back up this post. I just remember seeing this on ESPN when he first got the job.

I agree, this is not the same NFL Gibbs coached in back then. His "system" just doesn't seem to be working now. This Hall of Fame Coach needs to step.

Now see, that's just it. He's not running his system, he's running Al Saunder's offense. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think this team would be having more success with the old counter trey than they have been with Saunders playcalling. That said, I wouldn't expect Gibbs to return for the '07 season.

Why would they not be running the system Gibbs wanted to run. He is the head coach. Shouldn't he be telling Saunders what sort of offense he wants to use?

As far as Parcells, Except for a few mistakes, he's done a good job this year. The Cowboys have lost a couple of heartbreakers. The Cowboys could be at least 6-3, even 7-2. They have 5 out of their last 7 at home. They'll make the playoffs.

The Skins camp is reporting that they didn't pull Brunell due to performance issues (or lack there of), they want to start Campbell to give him a chance and to see what he has...
Theres a wise midseason choice, change QB and then alter the Offense to match his style.

...needless to say, upon hearing this, I spit a mouth full of coffee all over the place, now my carpet needs cleaned, and someone is going to pay for it.
