Soriano Available? Reports confirmed that the Nationals placed Alfonso Soriano on the waivers. This means that Soriano can be involved in a trade which would switch his uniforms. His resume includes his appearances at second-base and left-field, even though I still believe he is a core second-baseman. His fantasy value may be higher in left-field though, because of the rising-Chase Utley. He would be a great addition to any team down the stretch and I know that the Mets have been interested in acquiring him since last year. Now is their chance to capture one of the league's top sluggers. Where do you think he will end up, or will he stay at home in Washington? PS:My source is the wonderful world of FoxSports.COM

Re: Soriano Available? I guess the big question in the off-season will be if Soriano is the biggest righty bat on the market. Could Manny Ramirez be trade bait? Begs the question, if you were in the market for either all-star, which would you prefer on your team?

Re: Soriano Available? Alfonso Soriano. He has speed and can play second-base which is usually a weak position. They both can hit 40+ homeruns but they both whiff a lot too. That is a good question, EmpireWF. Personally, I'd like to bring Soriano to Antartica.
