The Washington Nationals have released pitcher John Patterson. He was their opening day starter not all that long ago, but apparently his stuff has been really bad this season. The Washington Post says the one-time ace-in-training is throwing at about 75% what he used to be able to. So is he done already, or is there a shot he can still rehab and come back at full strength?
