Nationals sign draft picks
On August 14, the Washington Nationals signed 18-year old pitcher Josh Smoker, the 31st overall pick in the 2007 MLB Draft. Then yesterday, they inked sixth-rounder Jack McGeary, which means that the team was able to sign all of their first 20 draft picks. So this should really give Washington's farm system a nice boost, eh?
