According to AP reports, "Washington Nationals first baseman Dmitri Young left Wednesday night's game against the Giants in the second inning because of tightness in his left hamstring... Young, who signed a two-year contract extension with the Nationals in late July, apparently hurt himself while running out a routine grounder to shortstop in the first." Normally, I'd think this wouldn't be a big deal, but with his age and size, you never know. Any word yet how much time Young could miss?

I remember when he played in the Reds OF. I seemed like he was hurt alot then too with soreness. He would stay out of the lineup. I hope he hasn't fallen back into old habits. He is a great story this year.
