| Belliard, Young hitting streaks Last night, Ronnie Belliard of the Nationals hit an RBI double in the second inning. The second baseman has now hit safely in 11 games - the longest streak of the season for a Washington player. But don't look now, because hot on his heels is Dmitri Young, who had a third-inning single to stretch his own hitting streak to 10 games. So which of these two streaks last longer?
