Washington trading Dmitri Young?

Are the Washington Nationals considering dealing Dmitri Young?

Well, according to the Newark Star-Ledger, "the Braves have asked the Nationals about first baseman Dmitri Young, who could be attractive to several teams over the next few weeks as a switch-hitting power threat at first base or DH. But at this point, the Braves seem more likely to let converted catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia keep playing first."

So does Young wind going going to the Braves, another team, or staying with Washington?

Young is starting to get some miles on him...perhaps a team in the AL in need of a DH will take a run at him, but I doubt it.

Re: Washington trading Dmitri Young?

He's a good bat for some team needing one. I think he only has a one year deal so it's no harm no foul. And besides, I think he's the only real trading chip the Nats have right now.
