Patterson getting banned treatment

According to the Associated Press, Washington Nationals pitcher John Patterson is going to Canada to undergo treatment for a nerve injury in his right elbow. The reason he's going to Canada? Because the series of injections he will be getting have not been approved in the United States yet. The team has given him permission to seek other treatment options provided they will help him return faster, and with this course of treatment, he will most likely return this season. Your thoughts?
