According to Associated Press reports, "The Washington Nationals acquired Rule 5 draft pick Levale Speigner from Minnesota on Sunday in a trade that returns the right-hander to his former team. Washington sent minor league outfielder Darnell McDonald to the Twins. Speigner was 2-3 with an 8.78 ERA in 19 games, including six starts, for the Nationals before he was designated for assignment on June 19."
So Washington had him, designated him for assignment, and then traded to get him back? Yep, that's one well-run organization all right!
