| Johnson, Freeman ruled ineligible Washington running backs Brandon Johnson and David Freeman have been ruled academically ineligible for the upcoming season The announcement from the school came Tuesday Johnson, a junior from Hawthorne, Calif., rushed for 194 yards in nine games last season, making him the team's third-leading rusher.
