| Huskies hire standout prep coach SEATTLE (AP) -- Washington coach Tyrone Willingham has dipped into the prep ranks, hiring Skyline High School coach Steve Gervais as the Huskies' new running backs coach. Gervais has been highly successful at the high school level, winning six Washington state titles -- three each at Eatonville and Skyline. He also coached at Rogers of Puyallup and Gig Harbor, and has a record of 244-83 in 31 seasons coaching high school football. Gervais led the Spartans to the 2007 Class 3A state title, a team that Willingham's son played on.
