Huskies vs. Trojans

On Saturday, Sept. 29, the Washington Huskies (2-2) host the #1 ranked USC Trojans (4-0).

The Huskies looked good to start the season, but they've lost their last two games and are 0-1 in the Pac-10. Will they be able to snap their mini-skid with an admittedly improbable upset of USC? Probably not. At least, that's my prediction. What do you think?

Re: Huskies vs. Trojans

Trojans running back by committee gained over 200 yards...Booty wasn't half bad either with 4 TDs and 279 yards...Are the Trojans worthy of the #1 ranking in this year of upsets?

Yes, for now. LSU is looking mighty darn good as well. As the season goes on, they may sway some voters. Oklahoma is another team to watch. They have a load of talent, and will probably start drawing a few more first-place votes each week.

loved the LSU trick play on the field goal...

The Sooners looked really good against Miami, I like their chances.

Washington kept it close, but lost 27-24 on Saturday.

According to the Associated Press, "Redshirt freshman Jake Locker continued his erratic passing, missing three open receivers in or near the end zone for Washington (2-3, 0-3), which lost its third consecutive game and is now 1-9-1 against No. 1 teams -- including 0-7 when USC is top ranked... Locker finished 12-for-27 with 83 yards passing and one interception, plus another 50 yards on 16 carries with two touchdowns."

Booty had a rough game...a fumble a few picks...definitely a cut below Leinhart and Carson Palmer
