| Washington coach Tyrone Willingham Washington coach Tyrone Willingham is set to kick off his third season as the Huskies head coach, and he's still looking for his first winning season with the team. In fact, it's kind of funny that, in 12 seasons Willingham has only won 10 games once (in his first season at Notre Dame) and has finished with six losing records in that span. Is he going to be the right guy to turn the Washington football program around?

| Re: Washington coach Tyrone Willingham Rivals.com has Willingham listed as one of 10 coaches on the hotseat. According to their article Rivals.com College Football - Coaching seats are heating up for some, "Five victories in 2006 was a definite sign of progress, but Willingham likely cannot afford a step back. He's 7-16 in two years at the Washington helm, which is the identical record of his predecessor Keith Gilbertson - who was fired after two seasons. Washington, which once routinely produced 10-win seasons, has not endured three consecutive losing seasons since 1947-49. What will be the reaction if it happens again?" What do you think? |
