so my question is - who is number 1?
Theodore has accepted a two year contract with Washington.
first - it says both Kolzig (didn't he walk away from the Caps?) and Huet are ufa's. Are both gone from washington? is Theodore the number one goalie in Washington (I don't think he's that good).

answered - Kolzig just signed Tampa Bay - one year contract.

Theodore is getting 9 mill for the 2 years.

this could be a comeback for washington. They're using all of the habs stand bys. theodore might do well there. In fact I expect him to.

Ah so Theodore is the starter and Johnson is the backup.

Yeah I think he'll do alright. He is a world class goaltender if he loses the distractions.

He's really good if all the attention is focused on him. When he won the vezina and hart in the same year, the habs were allowing 40 shots on per game. The team sucked but he did well because he was the glue. He could never play a chris osgoode role. He'll be a good fit in D.C.
