Alexander Ovechkin has won the Art Ross and Maurice Richard Trophies.

According to Pa. Sportsticker reports, "Ovechkin posted 65 goals and 112 points this past season. The goals total was the highest in the NHL since Mario Lemieux netted 69 in 1995-96, but Ovechkin sounded as if it was not the pinnacle of what he could achieve... 'It was a good year, but it wasn’t my best year,' the 22-year-old said. 'When I take the Stanley Cup, that will be my best year. I’m happy to take (these trophies), but the biggest one is not in my hands yet.'"

So, will he win the Stanley Cup, and if so, when?

there's also been rumour that he won the Hart award because t shirts were made, it was disclosed, with his name and 2007/08 hart winner written on it.
The organization says they make t shirts in prep for all winners and if Ovechkin loses, they will destroy the shirts.

The National Hockey League's online souvenir shop has either spilled the beans or jumped the gun.
For several hours on Friday, the league's shop.nhl.com Web site was featuring a blue Reebok Alexander Ovechkin T-shirt, touting him as the league's 2007-08 most valuable player.

Iginla and malkin are the other two up for the award.
