| Capitals win Southeast title The Washington Capitals clinched the Southeast Division title and the final playoff spot in the East with a 3-1 win over Florida yesterday. It's the club's first playoff berth since 2003. Not bad for a team that was in last place on Thanksgiving. Panthers couldn't do to washington what they did to Carolina - imagine that - you're in 3rd, you lose and they win and you're out of the playoffs - tough. Fedorov had a goal and an assist, Semin had a goal and an assist. Huet got the nod - I'm thinking they like him more than Kolzig. What happens if Montreal and washington meet? price vs. Huet? Good one.
