Washington now has 88 points and are two behind Southeast Division-leading Carolina - who they play on Tuesday. Washington remains three points behind eighth-place Philadelphia in the Eastern Conference standings - Flyers beat the Islanders in a shootout.

| Re: Washington over Florida Didn't realize that Alex was at 62 goals already...the team has all of 227 total...Equally as impressive is his 430 shots on net...that's like 5 or 6 shots a game for the kid...you take that many shots...and with his skill level you will score. Still nothing else behind him, which is a shame.
