So who is the greats Capitals of all-time?...The franchise has had some talent over the years, but are they over shadowed by Alex Ovechkin?

yeah and what if he suddenly isn't the Ovechkin we know now in 2 years? there's way too much hype about these young guys, and too much said about them before they have even really proven themselves.
i'm not saying Ovechkin isn't proving himself now, but he should put in a few more years before he starts getting called the greatest capital of all time.
There are numerous elements to that equation, and longevity is one of them, right alongside goals scored. who last the longest and maintains greatness.
That's part of what makes a guy like yzerman so great - and gretzky.
