The win is Kolzig's - they seem to really be giving him a chance, not shelving him immediately for huet. What a great position to be in, have a great back up and push the other number one goalie - so smart.
Backstrom got the third Caps goal and Kotalik got the lone sabres goal.

But yes, even I'm surprised with how well they're doing, they've really shown that they're ready to be contenders this year.

This is actually one of the few years where I'm more interested in the East than the West.

I've always prefered the West, they've just always seemed more competitive to me, and it doesn't have those overrated Senators hogging the spot light.
