Virginia Tech has cancelled their final three spring practices as well as the team's spring game. Not really a surprise, but still a classy move by Frank Beamer in the wake of this week's tragic shooting. "There's things more important than football right now," Beamer told reporters. "There's a lot of grieving families here and there's going to be a lot of grieving families here Saturday. I just thought it was the right thing to do."

ya know this tragedy is the perfect oppertunity for Mike Vick and his idiot brother to do as little image repair

they can go to the campus and spread some cheer and money

All of pro sports should try to help these families in some way, even if it is not financial but just moral.
