| Hokies G Sergio Render Virginia Tech true freshman Sergio Render was one of six players honored by the ACC Monday afternoon, earning ACC Offensive Linemen of the Week honors... Render turned in an outstanding effort in Saturday's 27-6 win over No. 14 Wake Forest. The Newman, Ga., product, who has started all 11 games this season, played 53 snaps, grading out at a career-high 90 percent with a career-high and team-high six knockdown blocks as the Hokies won for the ninth time in 11 games.
