Mackey Award candidate Tom Santi
Back in July, Virginia tight end Tom Santi was named to the John Mackey Award watch list.

According to the Cavaliers official website, "Santi, a native of Nashville, Tenn., ranked fourth among ACC tight ends with 29 receptions for 253 yards and one touchdown. He has caught 61 passes for 766 yards and three touchdowns in his career to rank eighth in UVa history in receiving by a tight end... The senior sociology major also excels in the classroom and was named to last season's All-ACC Academic Football team." Think he's got a shot of winning it?
