One of Temple's three wins this season came Saturday, a 24-17 decision over Mid-American Conference rival Miami (Ohio), the next opponent on the Commodores' schedule.
It'd be easy to call Vanderbilt a prohibitive favorite in Saturday's matchup — except the Commodores were a prohibitive underdog in their last outing, an eventual 17-6 win at No. 6 South Carolina.
In a season when it's been shown repeatedly that anything can happen, Vanderbilt doesn't want to provide any further evidence of that fact.
