| Vanderbilt duo earns SEC honors D.J. Moore and Brett Upson became the first Vanderbilt football pair to earn Southeastern Conference weekly honors in two seasons, following their performances in the Commodores' 17-6 win Saturday at sixth-ranked South Carolina. Moore, who was named national defensive player of the week Sunday by the Walter Camp Football Foundation, garnered the league's same recognition on Monday. The sophomore cornerback had a pair of interceptions, a pass breakup and eight tackles (five solos) along with three kickoff returns for a 34-yard average and two rushes from a receiver position on offense.
