| Moore's star shines in all directions COLUMBIA, S.C. — By the time South Carolina got around to pursuing D.J. Moore seriously, he was already a Commodore — at least, in his mind. On Saturday, the Spartanburg native enjoyed his homecoming at the Gamecocks' expense. The sophomore had a pair of interceptions in his team's 17-6 win. One set up a Vanderbilt field goal and the other stopped a potential South Carolina scoring drive. Moore also averaged 34 yards on three kickoff returns. "When I committed (to Vanderbilt), they (South Carolina) wanted to offer me then," said Moore, who had a team-high eight tackles and a pass breakup Saturday.
