| KNOXVILLE — Tennessee continues to look for newcomers to impact the offense as the me Chris Nickson knows it wasn't his finest hour. Now the Vanderbilt quarterback is looking ahead to his next hour. After throwing a career-high four interceptions in the Commodores' 30-7 non-conference win Saturday against visiting Eastern Michigan, it didn't take long for Nickson to focus on the positive. "It was unusual; I'm not used to it at all," said Nickson, who was intercepted three times last season at Alabama, during his second career start. "But we got the win. I'm satisfied with that."It was somewhat of an all-or-nothing situation for Nickson, who — when he wasn't throwing it to the Eagles — threw for 168 yards and a pair of touchdowns while running for another 67 yards on 12 carries. "They threw a couple of things at us that surprised us," he said. "But other things were just bad decisions on my part." One of Nickson's interceptions came when he threw into a group of Eastern Michigan defenders along the sideline. Another came as the Commodores were marching toward a touchdown, on first-and-goal from the 6. Vandy's Nickson enjoys a victory, not pickoffs - Nashville, Tennessee - Monday, 10/01/07
