| More high-octane offense expected against Ole Miss Vanderbilt is set to face an offense coming off a highly productive performance for the second straight week with Ole Miss having cranked out 534 total yards in its 38-25 loss Saturday to visiting Missouri. Alabama, which finished with 371 offensive yards Saturday in its 24-10 defeat of the Commodores, warmed up for that outing with a 575-yard game in a 52-6 season-opening win over Western Carolina. Ole Miss comes to Nashville for a 6 p.m. SEC game on Saturday.The Rebels (1-1) got a 226-yard, one-touchdown rushing performance from BenJarvus Green-Ellis and rallied from a 35-7, third-quarter deficit before losing. Quarterback Seth Adams threw for 305 yards and three TDs in the defeat. Health issues: Vanderbilt offensive lineman Bradley Vierling played Saturday against Alabama after suffering a knee injury in the season opener against Richmond that left his status questionable.
