Johnson sees no advantage in drawing Saban, Tide early

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Vanderbilt coach Bobby Johnson isn't so sure he sees an advantage in playing Alabama and new coach Nick Saban in the second game this season.

He thinks the Crimson Tide revealed little in opening the season with a 52-6 victory over Western Carolina.

"It might be a little bit of a disadvantage for us, because we're not exactly sure how they're going to line up," Johnson said Monday. "I know they didn't show everything they've got against Western Carolina. It's always a mixed bag as far as that is concerned."

Alabama and Vanderbilt meet Saturday at Vanderbilt Stadium for Saban's first Southeastern Conference game since leaving LSU after the 2004 season.

The Commodores (1-0) are aware of the hype that will descend on Nashville.
"It's a great opportunity to get a win against a great program. I'm excited," center Hamilton Holliday said. "This is very big game against a big-name program with a big-name coach."
