Freshman makes difficult decision

Most of Vanderbilt's incoming freshmen made the decision to come to the school.
Freshman running back Jermaine Doster chose to come back to the school.
After the December 2004 shooting death of Commodore tailback Kwane Doster in their hometown of Tampa, Fla., Jermaine followed in his brother's footsteps and became a star in his own right at Robinson High. He played his way onto Vanderbilt's recruiting radar, though he was hardly unfamiliar with the program — or it with him.
