Canucks win Game 2

The Vancouver Canucks won a 2 OT thriller last night, beating the Anaheim Ducks 2-1 to tie their NHL Playoff series up at one game apiece. According to the AP, "Goalie Roberto Luongo kept the Vancouver Canucks in the game. Jeff Cowan finished it for them... Luongo made 43 saves -- 19 on power plays -- and Cowan scored 7:49 into the second overtime Friday night to lift Vancouver." So the Canucks have split the two games in Anaheim. Do they have the edge now as the series shifts fact to the Great White North?

Re: Canucks win Game 2

Yes yes yes!!
Wow. 2nd OT. Canucks are destined to play until they are done this post season, and they pulled this off.
49 shots for Vancouver, 44 for Anaheim.
Good to see naslund score - he needs to produce more.
Cowan is the hero with the game winning goal but Luongo is KING.
They did it without salo and bieksa who are both listed as Day to Day.
And now, the best part is, we get to go back to Vancouver for games 3 and 4.
They feel empowered now. This is good.
