| Re: seventh game in vancouver Vigneault is saying he is upset with the way the canucks played last game. Yeah. They have been shutout for 131 minutes and 52 seconds. They have a bad track record - they collapsed in 2003 vs. the Wild, ahead 3-1 and then bottomed out in the deciding game. They are 4-4 in Game 7s. Hey a fact that helps someone in another thread - only 214 clubs have faced 3-1 deficits and won. If Vancouver loses, i am left solely with one Canadian team, and it's the one Canadian team I can't cheer for. Beat em, vancouver! |

| Re: seventh game in vancouver Yeah i was upset after the first period, and it was 1-0 for Dallas and the Canucks seemed listless and Turco seemed like a big tall wall of bricks. Plus all the talk about how the Sedin twins really haven't produced like they had during the season, and I feel panic, then henrik scores on a pass from daniel, and later henrik gets an assist as well. Finally getting one past turco let loose the cannons. Linden, Pyatt and Smolinski finished the stars off. Just 20 shots for Dallas and 32 for vancouver in the end. Like I said how I'll miss kiprusoff because I hate seeing an elite goalie go - Turco out now is too bad. he was amazing, redeemed himself after being criticized for playing badly usually in the playoffs (previously he had an 8-14 playoff record and career save percentage that dropped from .914 in the regular season to .892 in the postseason - but now he's now he's one of the leaders at .951). I'm a big goalie skills fan. |
