Could the Utah Jazz be looking to trade Andrei Kirilenko to the Nets for Richard Jefferson?

Probably not. According to Steve Luhm of the Salt Lake Tribune, "Jefferson is a small forward who can also play shooting guard, and the Jazz have plenty of swing-types right now. The only way Utah would make a straight-up Kirilenko for Jefferson deal is if A.K.'s unhappiness with coach Jerry Sloan again became an issue and it started to fracture the team." So this deal probably won't happen. Right?

I thought the way the NBA works now is that the coach gets fired if they can't get along with the players.

No way you trade a player like Andrei...he is a shot blocking machine, he can pass, rebound and score...a team needs a guy like this...a Jefferson type you can pick up most anywhere by comparison.

I agree. Plus, from what I hear, Utah's already got plenty of Jefferson-types on the roster. No way this deal should get done.
