Thanks to Mehmet Okur, the Utah Jazz were able to pull out a big win over the San Antonio Spurs yesterday. According to the Associated Press, "Okur scored 14 of his 31 points in the fourth quarter, including eight in the final minute" as the Jazz won the game, 97-93. In addition, "Rookie Paul Millsap had 15 points, eight rebounds and two blocks, and seldom-used Rafael Araujo had seven points, five rebounds and frustrated San Antonio's Tim Duncan with very physical defense." Good start for the suddenly Boozer-less Utah club, wouldn't you say?
