Bill Fisk Sr., who was a member of USC's 1939 national championship football team and played on a pair of Rose Bowl-winning teams, died on March 27 in Corona del Mar, Calif. He was 90... Fisk was a 3-year (1937-39) letterman end for USC. He helped the Trojans defeat 2 previously unbeaten and unscored upon teams in Pasadena: Duke in the 1939 Rose Bowl and Tennessee in the 1940 Rose Bowl. He was named Troy's Most Inspirational Player in 1939 and played in the 1940 College All-Star Game.
