Penn State got a long fumble return to beat a hugely over-rated Tennessee team. Wisconsin has the only meaningful bowl victory for the Big Ten, over a Jekyll and Hyde Arkansas squad. Michigan was barely competitive against this clearly inferior version of USC; imagine if they had played last year's team.

I just looked at the stats from the Wisconsin game. They ran 28 times for minus five yards. Arkansas had 120 yards in penalties! Arkansas is the only ranked opponent Wisconsin beat all year.

Jarrett and Smith are all well and good, but don't forget the Michigan has arguably the best cover corner in the country in Leon Hall, and that the UCLA game proved that Booty could not handle pressure. Yep... I think Mr. Jarrett's draft stock just went way, way up while Mr. Hall's just went way, way down. Same with some of the other Michigan defensive guys. Terrible, terrible performance, definitely not indicitive of their abilities. Heck, if a guy can hang with Ginn, he should've been able to hang with Jarrett. But it didn't happen.
