| Trojans edge Washington St. Okay, so they didn't have Dwayne Jarrett. This was still a pretty close call for the Southern California Trojans. USC beat Washington St. 28-22, but it's hard to come way from the game impressed with the team's performance, especially on D.
The USC defense gave up over 400 yards of total offense and 26 first downs on the day -- in fact, the Cougars were supeior to the Trojans in both statistical categories. Of course, Southern Cal won the only numbers battle that really matters, that being the points battle. Nonetheless, I get the sneaking suspicion that USC is vulerable right now. What do you think? |
