Reggie Bush Scandal As cited in a post in the Saints forum, a Yahoo! Sports investigation shows Bush accepted money while in school. USC's accomplishments, along with his own, could be under fire and worse. How does this make USC fans feel?

Deal with the facts on the table. Assuming Bush did in fact violate NCAA rules, USC played him when he should've been ineligible, and therefore, they likely lose a national title and likely get placed on probation. That probably kills their recruiting as well. This is a HUGE story because of the possible impact it will have on the future of the Trojans football program.

Re: Reggie Bush Scandal Reggie Bush's actions will likely hurt the program in the longterm, as Lefty said. If they get their National Title taken back and possibly even bans from future bowls or whatever, do you think top recruits will choose them over other top schools? There's no question NCAA sports are corrupt but some schools try to be clean.

Re: Reggie Bush Scandal See, to me its too different issues. On one hand, yes the rules stinks and they're in desperate need of an overhaul. But you know what? They're still the rules. Reggie Bush knows the rules, and even if he doesn't agree with them, he is bound to abide by them. He didn't and it could wind up costing his alma mater big time. Trying to switch the focus to the NCAA's policies sounds gives this kid a free pass for knowingly violating a rule that, regardless of what anyone thinks, thousands of student athletes adhere to year in and year out. I can't agree with that.

Re: Reggie Bush Scandal By the way, College Gameday said today that is Bush is guilty, it will be the first time ever that a player should have been ineligible during a Heisman Trophy winning season. The exact statement was something along the lines of the fact that Heisman winners had gotten in trouble before they won the award and after they did, but never before has there been an instance of a guy getting caught breaking the rules during a Heisman award season. Lee Corso's calling for Bush to forfeit the trophy. Should he?
