This game is a very important game in the PAC 10 race this week. The Beavers have now won 4 in a row since their home loss to Cincinatti earlier this year. Trojans have just beaten their 3rd straight top 25 opponent on the road last week in beating Notre Dame. Barkeley continues to amaze me with his maturity at QB as he is a true freshman. The Trojan defense looked a little soft last week but they were playing against a good offense.

As many know, the Beavers upset the Trojans last year when they were ranked number 1 in the nation. Can they do this again coming off of a bye week? I don't think so as the Trojans will be at home and looking forward to this game.

Actually, Oregon State has won 3 in a row since their home losses to Cincinnati and Arizona. They won't make it 4 in a row at USC though, Trojans roll in this one.

Thanks desertrat for the correction. I just actually found this out a few minutes ago when I was checking out a preview. Beavers have won 3 in a row and agree...Trojans will roll!

No. 7 Trojans avenge last season's loss to Beavers behind Bradford



LOS ANGELES -- Most of Oregon State's punt-coverage team was to his left, so Damian Williams went right. When he dodged the final tackler and slipped into the end zone early in the fourth quarter, he thought Southern California finally had shaken the Beavers as well. "And then they went down and scored again like it was nothing," Williams recalled. "I said, 'I guess it's still going to be a fight here.'"

The Trojans (No. 7 BCS, No. 4 AP) won that fight with one final drive by their revitalized offense, which relished a rare chance to bail out their usually formidable defense in a 42-36 victory Saturday night.

Allen Bradford rushed for a career-high 147 yards and two touchdowns as USC avenged its only loss of last season -- a 27-21 defeat last September that prevented the Trojans (6-1, 3-1 Pac-10) from playing for the national title.

I don't know about that USC defense that has given up huge chunks of yardage the last two weeks? Beavers never gave up in this game, you have to give them credit for hanging in there. Trojans dodged a bullet.
