Thanks for this update drfunk. I hear Matt has a ton of talent as most of the Trojan QB's. Have to admit, I am surprised that Matt beat out Aaron because he is a true freshman which is rare in college football to start a kid this young.

The last true freshman I can remember the Trojans starting @ QB was back in the late 90's with Carson Palmer who I remember watching live back in the day. I don't think Palmer started that year but later took over starting position from a guy who got hurt. Carroll knows what he is doing but midly surprised here. What do you think?
