UCLA chooses Chow over Borges for coordinator

Former Auburn offensive coordinator Al Borges won't be returning to UCLA.

The Bruins hired Norm Chow as their offensive coordinator Sunday, the Los Angeles Daily News reported, a move that left Borges only close to the job he once held. The newspaper cited sources for its report.

Borges interviewed for the job with new UCLA head coach Rick Neuheisel. Auburn replaced Borges with Tony Franklin after the most recent regular season.
