UCLA vs. Stanford

The Bruins lock horns with the Cardinal in a rare conference game to open the season. I imagine UCLA should come away with a fairly convincing victory in this one, given that these are two teams headed in completely different directions. Look for Chris Markey to run wild over one of the Pac-10's weakest defenses in a rout. That sound about right to you?

Re: UCLA vs. Stanford

Ben Olson and 14th ranked UCLA tore apart Standford...Olson hit on 5 TDs today. The run netted them 339 yards and they had over 600 yards of total offense...reminds me of the way I play Madden!...well miss the fact that I give up a zillion yards.

Does Olson have a shot at some post season awards or are the Cards weak?

Stanford's a pretty lousy team, but still, that was an impressive day. He's going to have a good season, but probably not this good every week.

Any relations to the last Olson QB they had a year or two ago?...and no, I don't believe that he will put up those numbers against USC, Washington, or Cali...

Apparently not. He has a brother named Chad, but the other Bruin QB was Drew Olson. Ben is from Thousand Oaks, California while Drew is from Piedmont, California.

Hate it when a team does that...get two kids with the same last name at QB...how is Drew doing anyway?...is he a clip board holder some where in the NFL?

Nope. He got cut by the Ravens in favor of Troy Smith.
