| UCLA Basketball Recruiting Score a major signing for UCLA basketball recruiting. The top basketball recruit in the nation, Kevin Love, has signed with UCLA. 6-foot-9, 255 pounds from Lake Oswego, Oregon, Love has been called "the most fundamental high school basketball player in the last 25 years." UCLA basketball coach Ben Howland and assistant Kerry Keating have been working hard to recruit Kevin Love for 3 years. The hard work has finally paid off. What do you think this means for the team and the continuing UCLA basketball recruiting efforts? Just how good is UCLA going to be over the next few years?

| Re: UCLA Basketball Recruiting I've seen him play NUMEROUS times... My buddy coached him until high school... Yeah... he's great... but he's great against kids 5 inches shorter and 40 pounds lighter... He is truly a man among boys. I think he has the potential to be great... or be a great disaster. Conditioning has gotten better. His dad is a former basketball star; Stan Love. Kevin has also surrounded himself with the right people, so it should be interesting. |

| Re: Kevin Love Named Naismith Boys High School Player of the Year Another big signing for the Bruins today to go along with Love. According to the Associated Press, "the Bruins received a verbal commitment from 6-foot-9-inch power forward Drew Gordon, of Archbishop Mitty, on Monday afternoon... Gordon, the No. 20 nationally ranked player of the 2008 class, announced his decision in a press conference at his San Jose high school." Looks like UCLA will have quite a team next season, don't you think?
