UCLA basketball recruiting

Kevin Love, a 6-10, 250-pound center from Lake Oswego HS (Lake Oswego, OR) and Chace Stanback, a 6-7, 210-pound guard/forward from Fairfax HS (Los Angeles) both signed a National Letter of Intent to attend UCLA, Bruin head coach Ben Howland announced Wednesday.

Re: UCLA basketball recruiting

These kids Love and Stanback sound like they might be pretty good ballers.

So what's the word on UCLA's recruiting? How would you evaluate the job the Bruins staff has done thus far?

Cool Re: UCLA basketball recruiting

I would love to see UCLA become a premiere national program. They were "THE" basketball college program when I was growing up. Wooden, Walton, Jabbar, etc...

Re: UCLA basketball recruiting

No doubt about it, those Bruins squads were really something special.

They were pretty good not that long ago, with the O'Bannons. If I recall, they went pretty deep in the NCAAs, right?
