ORLANDO, Fla. (UCF Knights - Official Athletics Site) - Head coach George O'Leary announced a pair of role changes on his UCF football coaching staff on Thursday and the addition of Manny Messeguer to the athletics association staff as the assistant director of football operations.

Tight ends coach Brent Key will assume the role as special teams coordinator after serving as the recruiting coordinator for the 2007 season. Key replaces Dave Huxtable, who spent the previous four campaigns guiding the Knights' special teams. Huxtable was elevated to defensive coordinator in January.

Geoff Collins, the Knights' newest addition to the coaching staff, will replace Key as the recruiting coordinator. Collins joined the staff in February as the linebackers coach after spending a season as the director of player personnel at the University of Alabama.
