One man. One school. Twenty-six years. And a reach that has always given his grasp a run for its money.

When Jay Bergman came to UCF in 1983 to take over the Knights' baseball program, he was already an established name in the college ranks. He will begin his 26th season as the Knights' skipper later today against Florida A&M.
