The UCF Golden Knights will visit Texas on Sept 15 to take on the Texas Longhorn. UCF is coming of a stunning victory in their season opener and are hoping that good luck can smile upon them once more.

The Knights are lead by half back Kevin Smith who gained 217 yards on 35 carries and 2 touchdowns in the opener. Smith broke an 80 yard run for a score on the first play of the new season.

This will be the Knights first game in their new digs...a 45,000 seat stadium on campus (about 3-4 miles from my house)...should be interesting...the game is of course sold out, but it will be on ESPN 2... ..GO KNIGHTS!

The Knights are only down by 7, 17-10, as we near the half. Kevin Smith scored on a 2-yard TD run for UCF. This one's far from over.
