Raptors extend offers to Calderon & Delfnio

Raptors extend offers to Calderon, Delfino - NBA - Yahoo! Sports

Quote:
The Toronto Raptors extended qualifying offers to guards Jose Calderon and Carlos Delfino on Friday.

Calderon had career highs with 11.2 points and a team-best 8.3 assists per game last season, leading the NBA in assist-to-turnover ratio at 5.38. He played in all 82 games for the Raptors last season, his third with the team.

Delfino also appeared in all 82 games last year, which was his first with Toronto. The fourth-year pro averaged career highs with 9.0 points and 4.4 rebounds per contest.

By signing the restricted free agents prior to the June 30 deadline, Toronto has the right to refuse permission if the player wants to sign an offer sheet with another team later in the offseason.
