They look like they're going to sign Jason Allison, at much less then they paid him last year. peca's agent has not been contacted for a week now, and Lindros' and Allison's agents have.
Allison got 60 points last season for the buds, but the numbers aren't so awe inspiring. -18 which was the worst plus-minus for a player who spent the entire year with the Leafs. he also missed a total of 16 games and during that time, the Leafs record was 13-1-2. With him in the line up, it was 30-32-6. then he broke his hand. But there was a 13 game run in there where Leafs did great and allison was part of that.
He made 3 mill last year, with the bonuses attached to his contract - he won't get near that much this year.
I'm still rooting for Peca.
Other news - Quinn (even though he isn't a Leaf anymore, I feel i still have rights to include him here) apparently turned down the coaching job in Boston, so they hired dave Lewis - i knew they wanted him.
And Gotham - we play you guys next season: Oct 20 in Columbus at 7 pm. see you there.

Okay well now it's like a big soap opera - talks are off with lindros because he wants too much and Leafs want to see him go out on the market and realize no one's going to pay him a mill plus bonuses - then he'll come back with his stick between his legs and say, Pay me $750,000 plus I'll make the coffee.
Talks are also off with Allison (phew) and back on with Peca (woohoo) as they try to figure out where Peca will fit into the Leafs line-up.

Think not. We finished on a high and inside our rink we were 23-18...Toronto was 15-21 on the road...should be interesting.

Why would anyone want Lindros? The guy is a shell of his former self. Plus I would think it's dangerous for him if he gets another concussion.
